There's a lot of serious problems in today's world that need to be addressed sooner rather than later, but in my opinion there's an urgent need for new ideas and innovation to handle it all in time. That's why I think social entrepreneurship is so important.
But what is a social enterprise? From Wikipedia: "A social enterprise is any for-profit or non-profit organization that applies capitalistic strategies to achieving philanthropic goals"
Presentation of a project in the course Social Entrepreneurship at Católica Lisbon. The goal was to come up with a sustainable project that has the potential to have a positive impact on the world.
In my opinion, this idea of a entrepreneurial school bus based in rural Angola is a good idea, and it deserves to at least be considered for implementation. I, along with a couple of the other group members, am actually considering to pursue this project after graduating (as a Master). But if there is interest by others to give it a shot, or maybe develop the idea further, please be my guest.
